What problem does BamBuddy solve?
Bambuddy is open-source software for managing Bambu Lab printers from your own server, through a web interface. BamBuddy adds a proper phone app, so you can follow a print while you are away.
What can the app do?
The app only talks to your own server, locally or remotely. There is no account, no cloud and no analytics.
- A live dashboard with progress, time remaining, layer, temperatures and AMS filament colours
- A live camera feed from the printer
- Queue management, an archive with thumbnails and statistics per printer and filament
- Widgets, a Live Activity, Siri and notifications when a print finishes or fails
- Also on the Mac and Apple TV, and on Android with widgets and a quick settings tile
- An AI assistant that runs on the device itself (Apple Intelligence or Gemini Nano)
What is the result?
BamBuddy is on the App Store and Google Play. One printer is free; Pro lets you follow unlimited printers and adds the AI features and smart notifications.
