Deskside: the Intune status of any device in one scan
An iPhone and iPad app for IT admins and service desks that use Microsoft Intune. Scan a serial number or barcode and you immediately see where the device stands.
What problem does Deskside solve?
If you are holding a laptop or phone and want to know whether it is set up correctly in Intune, Autopilot and Entra ID, you normally click through several admin portals and retype a serial number. Deskside reduces that to a single camera scan.
How does it work?
You sign in with your own Microsoft account; the app talks to your organisation's tenant directly through Microsoft Graph. No data goes to WeMeekIt: no server of ours, no analytics.
- Barcode scanning (Code 128 and 39, QR, DataMatrix, EAN-13) and text recognition with VisionKit
- Status of Intune enrolment, Autopilot, Entra ID, compliance and encryption
- A dashboard with compliance trends and an action centre for stale or unencrypted devices
- Bulk scanning, onboarding checklists, loan tracking and work orders
- PDF and CSV reports, Face ID lock and support for Intune managed configuration
What is the result?
Deskside is on the App Store in twelve languages, with a free tier and subscriptions for individual admins and teams. It can connect to an organisation's service desk (including TOPdesk, ServiceNow, Jira, Freshservice and Zendesk), and an Android version is in preparation.
